MARCH 15, 2015: ROTARY CLUB OF TOP OF THE LAKE - MOORESVILLE WILL HELP PLANT 400 TREES
Celebrating the 110th birthday of Rotary, Charlotte Rotary, along with Rotary District 7680, will plant 400 trees at the JW Grier Elementary School. Rotarians and family members, friends, and interested parties will work from 9:00AM to 12:00Noon.

VOLUNTEERING & LOGISTICS
The events will be held on Saturdays from 9 am to around 12 noon, rain or shine. Registration begins at 8:30 am. Each volunteer will receive an orientation from an arborist on how to plant trees. Tree experts will be available throughout the morning to guide you. Trees, mulch, t-shirts, tools, water, and snacks are provided by TreesCharlotte.
Volunteers are asked to bring gloves and to wear long sleeve shirts, long pants, and closed toed shoes. Volunteers will get dirty planting trees, particularly if its wet.
Tree planting events are held rain or shine. A modest rainfall actually provides ideal planting conditions.
Upon check in at the volunteer table, you will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
